Great podcast! I just love the sound of your voice. I know we disagree on so many things, but I firmly support and know there is no denying what works for you. Your consistency is amazing. I hope we get to meet in the regular world. It really looks like I'll be home around the end of February! Can you believe it!

Christy, if people agreed about everything life would be pretty dull, don't you agree? Jim Rohn's ideas are pretty universal, so I'm surprised you disagree with them, but so be it. He follows the S.M.A.R.T. goal setting process like most everyone. I happen to like alot of what he has to say and I tend to disagree with very little of what he has to say. He's the one of the few "success gurus" other than Anthony Robbins (who he mentored) that includes physical fitness as part of the plan. It is why I've got my entire team making and keeping fitness goals this year.

Yay! I agree. Sometimes I think I prefer dull agreement, but I'm getting better at handling the excitement of actually expressing my real thoughts instead of just agreeing and giving myself an opportunity to learn something new and embrace my own truth at the same time. (with the help of really kind people like you.) Oh, and BTW, regarding the discipline message. It's really interesting what you wrote in Suzette's blog. I was back in my class (via conference call) today, and one of the things that my teacher said was about discipline! That a lot of people use the word discipline wrong so much and think it means punishing when it DOES NOT. Guess what definition he gave? THE DISCIPLES much like you did. When I hear the same thing twice within the same day, I've learned to LISTEN UP! So I'm reclaiming the word discipline and taking out the shaming/punishing connotation that I associate it with (and many people do, too, like mean school teachers and people who beat their dogs and kids and stuff) and replacing it with a more loving definition. See so there's that. I'm going to post a Byron Katie video tomorrow. It's really so different and cool. It'll be really exciting.
