Mission 1, Day 76: Late! What?

I got up at 4 a.m. and did my usual thing. However, since I had a meeting, I decided to hit a new location of 24 Hour Fitness. I had seen the cars parked as I drove past on the freeway several days in a row and it looked pretty inviting. Because I had a meeting this morning and this gym is on the way to that meeting, I figured it would be perfect. What a mistake!
I sat there with 10 other people for 40 minutes. The gym (which is supposed to be open for 24 hours a day) was closed! It had a sign saying the person would be back at 4 a.m. and it was not almost 5 a.m. I finally gave up, figuring I'd hit the gym later in the day. That never happened. Thus, the plan is modified and I will lift tomorrow and Saturday instead of today and Friday. Mark one workout off my accountability log!
Not too much else to share today. I'm preparing some questions for my mystery guest. We plan on the podcast lasting about 30 minutes. If you have any general bodybuilding type questions to ask, please post them in a comment and I'll see what I can do about getting them into the podcast.

Christy, thanks for the comment about my progress. I don't see it as clearly as everyone else, but I really appreciate the encouragement. Sorry about the crappy photo quality today.

Hi Michael,
Love to see how it´s going with you. Sorry about that gym. Was wondering how you made it to a gym at 4 a.m. Nothing like that here in Spain. They open at 8 a.m until 11 pm. Noticed you are going stricter with the feedings. So hard to find something that works and you feel good besides. That data on pushups is fenominal! Loved reading it.
Wanted to especially thank you for your concern about my training, and appreciate your taking the time to help me out. Am doing much better now and expect to see improvement. Am finally able to do what I want. Life is busy at this stage of the game for me, but think am on the right track. Good luck to you too. Can see your improvement and know how hard you are working.

It's like that old comedy joke,
"But The sign say open 24 hours."
"Yes, but not 24 in a row."
You seem to take it in stride though, which is really cool on your part. That kind of stuff sometimes will really bum me out or seriously piss me off--especially when I'm working a plan and in the zone. Ooh. You do not want to hear my in the car swearing or crying up a storm. But despite outward appearances (in regular life I come across as very even tempered and easy going--in my blog and to my family, I'm a basketcase hehe), I get really bugged by my plans getting screwed with. Pretty cool of you to take it so well.
More importantly, when is YOUR birthday? It's gotta be coming up if you're a Capricorn, too. Don't tell me I missed it. If it's not too personal, how old are you? We seemed about the same age from your taste in music and movies.

Christy, add 7 to both your birthday and your age and that's what you get for my birthday and age (at least what it will be when I hit this birthday). I was upset about the gym but I've learned that there's nothing I can do about it, so I move on!

Oh cool. I didn't miss it!

Bad luck about the gym! It can be very disheartening when something like that happens to you.
I loved your little bit of research into pushups. 10,507 in a row! Makes 35 seem a little inadequate
