I am now going to drop my calories by 5% because I'm not exactly happy with the fat loss the past 3 weeks.  My high carb days will be at 2897 calories and my low carb days will be at 2375 calories.  This represents a 5% reduction over previous levels.  When you aren't happy with your results you have to take decisive action and that's what I'm doing.

Until later...GET BACK TO LIFTING!

I think those results are AWESOME! You dropped 1/2 percent of bodyfat while eating bulking calories! That's great!!
Lean body mass was down though. Maybe keep the calorie level but tweak the macro %s to boost protein and drop carb? Just an idea. You know what's best for YOU - you're doing great!!!

Thanks, Lilla...it was the LBM drop that bothered me.  Maybe you are right and I should just lower the carbs and up the protein.  That PFA program has me aiming for 50/30/20 (C/P/F), but I've been doing 40/40/20, so maybe I need to do 30/50/20?

Hmmm...tough call. I think when you get down to the 30% carb range, it's harder to be compliant AND have the energy for workouts. Personally, I read your results as pretty darn good and would give your current calorie level and ratios another week. I'm also becoming a big believer in the PFA conditioning theory. What calorie level does PFA advise?

I've been doing the Zone which is 40/30/30 but I might switch to 40/40/20 for cutting phase.
